Shanghai-based taxi LCD advertiser Touchmedia announced Series B funding of over RMB100 million on Thursday. The round was closed in January and was led by TLC Capital, with LG Investment, Mustang Venture Capital, HSR Ventures LLC, Jubilant Worldwide and Series A lead investor, Qi Ming Ventures, also participating. Touchmedia plans to use the funding to expand into more cities. The company says it has agreements to put its screens in more than 80,000 taxis in over 20 cities. Touchmedia closed its Series A round in late 2006.
