Sunsea Telecommunications is the largest manufacturer specializing in communication network physical connection equipment in China. Its operating revenue and net income reached RMB535 million and RMB62.81 million in 2011H1. Its market shares of MDF and DDF products are both over 8% of the total in China and rank second domestically, while ODF and optical fiber connector take up over 11% share of the total market and rank first in China. Its operating revenue generated by overseas business increased by 252.26% YoY, accounting for 9.4% of the total. According to its plan, the new production base in Wuhan will go into operation by the end of the year, which is expected to ease the capacity issue.

Benefiting from the construction of backbone network and transmission network, FOTE market experienced rapid development during last four years. Currently, 70% equipments are imported. In Sept. 2011, Sunsea invested RMB24.75 million on establishing subsidiary of Sunsea Aomai Fiber Optical Testing Technology Co., Ltd., of which main business is fiber optical communication testing service. Apart from aiming to develop new market, the new subsidiary also plays the role of assorted company for the sales of fiber optical network products.
