September 20 (CapitalVue) -- China Mobile Ltd. (0941.HK, NYSE:CHL) gained some 5.78 million new clients in August, bringing total new customers generated in the first 8 months to 43.61 million, reports yicai.com, citing a company filing.

At the end of August, the firm had 628 million mobile users, of which 40.32 million were 3G users. One month earlier, it had 37.6 million 3G users.
