HTC has reported revenues of NT$135.82 billion (US$4.43 billion) for the third quarter of 2011, up 9.2% sequentially and 79.1% on year. Third-quarter net profits reached NT$18.64 billion, translating into an EPS of NT$22.03 for the quarter.

For the first three quarters of 2011, revenues amounted to NT$364.38 billion, increasing 108.5% from a year earlier. Net profits for the January-September period totaled NT$51 billion or NT$60.15 per share, compared to NT$30.28 a year earlier.

While the third-quarter revenues were the company's highest quarterly figures, the 9.2% on-quarter growth fell short of HTC's target of 10% growth, a trend which may also affect the company's performance for the fourth quarter, according to industry sources.
