August 26 -- Anhui Sierte Fertilizer Industry (002538) plans to invest 113 million yuan to construct a sulfuric-acid waste-heat power generator, reports yicai.com.

The construction of the waste-heat power generation include a sulfuric acid facility, a low-temperature recovery system, a waste-heat power generation project and supporting projects, together entailing a construction period of 12 months.

Sierte hopes this program will help it reduce production costs.

Sierte posted 172.14-percent year-on-year growth in net profit from the first half of 2011 to 70.81 million yuan. Its revenue rose 45.79 percent year-on-year to 713 million yuan.
