November 8 -- Dongfeng Automobile (600006.SH) posted a 7.52 percent year-on-year increase in automobile sales to 26,500 units in October, reports stcn.com, citing a company filing.

Total sales in the first 10 months rose 8.37 percent year-on-year to 264,800 units.

Automobile production in October increased 13.95 percent year-on-year to 27,400 units.

Total automobile production in the first 10 months rose 10.99 percent year-on-year to 270,200 units.

Engine production dropped 5.81 percent year-on-year in October, engine sales fell 1.54 percent.
