CHINA Datang Corp, parent of the biggest Chinese electricity producer listed in Hong Kong by market value, started the construction of a US$360 million hydropower plant project in Cambodia.

The plant will have a capacity of 120 megawatts with an annual power output of 455,000 megawatt-hours.
