FRENCH oil major Total SA will build a 30-million-euro (US$42.5 million) lubricant blending plant in north China's Tianjin to meet rising demand from car users and industrial customers.

The plant can produce 200,000 tons a year of lubricant and grease products when operation starts in the fourth quarter of next year, the company said yesterday.
