In relation to its MOU for the acquisition of interest in a coal mine in Shanxi Province, King Stone Energy (HKG:0663) says that, as no formal sale and purchase agreement for the proposed acquisition has been entered into by the end of the expiry of the exclusivity period, being 31 January 2012, the MOU has lapsed since 31 January 2012.
